Chris Wagner is an associate at HPM&B who joined the firm in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a judicial law clerk at the Fairfield Judicial District Superior Court. Chris specializes in medical malpractice defense and provides hospitals, private medical practices, and physicians with professional and effective counsel.

Chris graduated with honors from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. During law school, Chris was the Vice President of Internal Competitions for the school’s Board of Advocates, and a board member for the school’s ethics committee. Chris also competed in numerous trial advocacy and negotiation competitions where he placed multiple times and was awarded first place for Most Outstanding Oral Advocate at the Ira S. Flory Trial Advocacy Competition. Upon graduation, Chris was selected as a member of the 2021 class of the Order of the Barristers, a national trial advocacy honor society that gives recognition to individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service at their respective schools.

When he is not litigating or advocating for his clients, Chris enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, coaching, and volleyball.
