Adam B. Kaufman
Partner
A Partner at HPM&B, Adam B. Kaufman is a litigator with more than 25 years of experience. His practice focuses on a variety of areas of law, with particular emphasis on medical malpractice and general liability in both state and federal court. His experience includes defending numerous hospitals, physicians and nurses in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injury cases. He also represents corporate clients, property owners, and major insurance carriers in general liability litigation. Adam has tried cases throughout New York and handles cases from Rochester to Riverhead.
In addition, Adam regularly lectures and gives CLE presentations on litigation and trial strategy. He has also led round table breakout sessions to physicians and medical students regarding various medical/legal issues.
Prior to joining HPM&B, Adam was a prosecutor in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in the Office’s White Collar Crimes Bureau where he successfully tried numerous cases.
