On November 10, 2011, Daniel Ratner lectured on developments in the law at a meeting of the New York State Medical Defense Bar Association. He discussed recent decisions pertaining to admissibility of expert opinions under Frye, expert disclosure, e-discovery, wrongful birth. He also discussed statistical rates of affirmance and reversal in the Appellate Division.

Earlier this year Mr. Bach was invited as the keynote speaker at The Annual Meeting of the Medical Staff of NYU Hospitals Center to lecture on the Peer Review Process, the Quality Assurance Privilege and the hazards of communicating confidential patient information over the internet.
