Summary Judgment Dismissal

HPM&B Attorneys Karen Grottalio and Natalie Hermon recently secured summary judgment dismissal in favor of our clients, a cardiologist, a neurologist, and a major metropolitan hospital. Plaintiff alleged our clients failed to recognize and timely treat a stroke, leading to significant deficits. Ms. Grottalio and Ms. Herman moved for summary judgment dismissal, and their motion was supported by experts in cardiology and neurology. Our experts established that the defendants met the standard of care during their treatment of plaintiff. In opposition, plaintiff failed to adequately refute the opinions set forth by our experts and the court granted summary judgment dismissal.
