An associate with the firm, Susan Kuruvilla represents hospitals, healthcare providers, and physicians in complex medical malpractice cases. Susan is involved in all aspects of pre-trial litigation and trial preparation, including reviewing medical records, representing clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions, and preparing evaluations to determine mitigating factors of damages and liability. Prior to joining the firm, Susan worked for another Manhattan firm practicing commercial real estate litigation.
During her time at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Susan competed in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition and was inducted into the Order of Solicitors. Susan served as President for the College’s Board of Advocates and was a Research Assistant in intellectual property matters for Professor Sarah Burstein.
Susan continues to serve the College as a member of the Young Alumni Advisory & Pro Bono Council for the Center for International Business and Human Rights at OU Law. The Center’s mission is to foster the growth of human rights in the Heartlands by providing academic think-tank support on international business and human rights issues.
Susan is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
