Precious T. Bonaparte


Precious Tanai Bonaparte Joined HPM&B as an associate in 2021. Here, she is responsible for aiding in the defense of hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions and federal civil rights actions. Precious is involved in aspects of pre-trial litigation and trial preparation, with a particular focus in case development, legal and medical research, fact investigation, and motion support.

Prior to joining HPM&B, Precious maintained a civil service career in New York City. She represented the interests of the City at all stages of administrative disciplinary actions and appeals as a Labor Litigation Attorney with the New York City Department of Correction and the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. She also served as a business Licensing Attorney at the latter. Additionally, Precious served pro se defendants, during the advent of the Unified Court Systems Volunteer Lawyer for a Day Program and presided as a Step III Grievance Hearing Officer with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations.

Precious rounds herself out as a professional West African Dancer who has performed with the Bambara Drum and Dance Ensemble since 2004. She also has volunteered for over seven years executing diversity and inclusion efforts at a New York City Independent School.
