Michael H. Gottlieb
Partner
Michael H. Gottlieb began his career in 1982 when he was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. He worked in the Trial Division where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal matters.
Michael was a founding partner of the firm Gottlieb Siegel & Schwartz in 2002.
Michael has spent his career as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and for the last 20 years has been specializing in insurance defense in the areas of premises liability, construction/labor law, elevator liability, environmental/toxic tort litigation, first party insurance litigation, motor vehicle accident and criminal defense litigation.
Michael handles all aspects of litigation from pleadings to resolution including appellate work.
In 2022, Michael joined HPM&B as a partner.
