Amanda J. Colding

Amanda joined Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach, as an associate attorney in 2026.
At HPM&B, Amanda represents insurance companies in the defense of negligence matters involving elevator accidents, slip/trip and falls, and premises liability. Amanda is involved in all aspects of pre-trial litigation.
Amanda handles the legal representation and management of insurance defense cases in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, with a particular focus on case development, motion support, discovery management, and legal research.
During law school, Amanda received an international law certificate and business law certificate. She was also a part of the Berkeley Journal of International Law.
After graduating, she served as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court for the State of Alaska, Third Judicial District.
Currently, Amanda is a member of the New York State Bar Association. She has joined the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section and the Women in Law Section. Additionally, Amanda is a member of the New York City Bar Association where she serves as a member of the African Affairs Committee.
