Advancing your interests
To that end, our partners actively participate and serve in leadership roles in professional and lawyer organizations such as the Defense Research Institute, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and the International Association of Defense Counsel . In addition the firm is a Sustaining Associate Member of the Lawyers For Civil Justice, a partnership of in-house corporate counsel and the leadership of the major defense lawyer organizations in the United States.
We are also proud that HPM&B surpasses the vast majority of law firms in appointing women to important positions of firm governance and responsibility. Seven of our twenty-three partners are women, and they regularly appear in courtrooms and boardrooms on behalf of our clients.
While we have grown, we have taken care to preserve the advantages of accessibility. Every matter is directly handled by one or more of our partners, who will return client calls immediately, or within 24 hours at the latest. Our clients deserve nothing less.
