A partner at HPM&B, Matthew M. Sconziano joined the firm in 2002. He represents both individual and institutional health care providers in professional, medical and general liability matters.
Mr. Sconziano represents clients through all phases of discovery, pre-trial proceedings and litigation in State and Federal Court in Connecticut. He is also experienced in investigating potential claims. Mr. Sconziano is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Connecticut Society for Healthcare Risk Managers, the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Young Lawyers Section for Fairfield County. Mr. Sconziano was named a "Rising Star" in the area of Medical Malpractice Defense in the 2008 and 2009 New England Super Lawyer Magazine.

HPM&B Raises $25,000 For Children's Cancer Research
On March 17, 2006, partners Luke M. Pittoni and Daniel S. Ratner, senior associate Matthew Sconziano and mailroom supervisor Lundell Wilson celebrated "St. Baldrick's Day" by having their heads shaved in return for donations to the St. Baldricks Foundation. The foundation's mission is to raise awareness and funds to Conquer Kids’ Cancer by shaving heads on St. Baldrick's Day. To date, HPM&B has raised more than $25,000 for this worthy cause.
