A Senior Associate at the Firm, Mr. Schmidt joined HPM&B in 2008. Since 1990, he has been defending malpractice and general liability cases, representing private, institutional and municipal defendants in all aspects of litigation.
Mr. Schmidt recognizes the professional and personal burden imposed on the clients in defending a lawsuit, which is best served by being a strong advocate for the client and working towards an expedient resolution of the case. He has long believed that the client is an integral part of the defense team, and works closely with the clients on defense strategy, liability analysis, and risk management.
