Virginia J. Nimick joined HMP&B as an Associate in 2009.  Ms. Nimick represents individually named physicians and institutions in State and Federal actions.

Her practice involves all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice claims, with particular emphasis on case evaluation and assessment, fact investigation, client interviews, motion support, depositions, and court appearances.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nimick worked as a clerk for Federal Magistrate Judge Francis X. Caiazza in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Nimick is a member of the American Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
