Patrick J. Murphy joined HPM&B in 2004. Mr. Murphy is experienced in representing hospitals and physicians in complex medical and dental malpractice litigation. He has successfully defended a physician at trial in a NYC Civil Court proceeding. He has also been successful in having actions dismissed against several hospitals on motion practice, without the need for a trial.
Mr. Murphy authored an article entitled “Survey of Recent Daubert and Kuhmo Tire Decisions - Litigating Kuhmo Tire, Daubert & Frye in State and Federal Courts,” published by The New York State Bar Association in 2002.
Prior to joining the firm, he was employed at another NYC law firm specializing in Medical Liability Defense.
