A partner, Rosary A. Morelli joined the firm in 1981. Ms. Morelli represents institutional, corporate and individual clients in professional liability matters in high exposure cases.
Ms. Morelli has handled hundreds of high exposure cases for the largest medical facilities in New York State. She has tried neurologically impaired infant cases with the best known plaintiffs' attorneys and successfully negotiated favorable settlements for her clients. Ms. Morelli works with Luke M. Pittoni in monitoring brain damaged baby cases for two of the nation's largest medical malpractice insurance carriers and she is the partner in charge of the firm's largest medical malpractice account.
Ms. Morelli is a former Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association. She continues to be active with the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the Committee on Tort Reform. Ms. Morelli is a member of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York City Bar. Working with the Courts, Ms. Morelli is a member of the New York County Medical Malpractice Case Management Committee. Ms. Morelli is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is AV® Peer Review Rated by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. Throughout her career, Ms. Morelli has lectured extensively on trial techniques and the role of female attorneys in litigation.
