An associate at HPM&B, Brian McGaughan joined the firm in 2009.  Mr. McGaughan currently represents pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers in the defense of product liability actions in State and Federal multi-district litigation.  Mr. McGaughan also represents physicians, hospitals and other medical professionals in malpractice actions.

Mr. McGaughan represents clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation, with particular attention to case development, legal research, fact investigation, motion support and suit evaluation.

At Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. McGaughan worked as a pro bono student on the Urban Revitalization Project within Seton Hall’s Center for Social Justice.  During that time, Mr. McGaughan represented clients on issues ranging from The Individuals With Disabilities Education Act to Section 8 Housing.
