E. Marc Hyman joined HPM&B in 1989, becoming a partner in 1996. He represents institutional and individual clients in professional liability, products, employment and commercial matters. Mr. Hyman represents clients from the commencement of litigation through trial, and counsels clients on risk avoidance strategies, medical credentialing and healthcare law issues. Mr. Hyman has previously served as the firm's managing partner. Outside the firm he is an active member of various bar associations, and has been a continuing legal education lecturer for the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Bar Association and the Practicing Law Institute. He co-authored the chapter on selecting expert witnesses in the New York State Bar Association's treatise on medical malpractice law. Mr. Hyman is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Medical Defense Bar Association, and the Hospital Risk Management Association.
