Partner Raphael J. Berman, joined the firm in 1995. Mr. Berman is an experienced trial attorney, who is also experienced in appellate litigation, having written appellate briefs and argued cases at both state and federal appellate levels. In addition, Mr. Berman counsels clients on risk management, liability analysis, and quality assurance matters to assist in the development of defensive strategies for current lawsuits, and to avoid future litigation.

As a former Assistant District Attorney in the Investigation Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney's office, Mr. Berman is also experienced in the internal investigation and prosecution of white collar criminal offenses, including fraud, embezzlement and forgery involving both small and large business entities.
